SafeNet Trusted Access for Wrike

Overview

The application template provides the ability to enable single sign-on for users accessing the Wrike application through SafeNet Trusted Access.

The following use cases can be configured for Wrike:

SP-initiated SSO

IdP-initiated SSO

Just-in-Time (JIT) Provisioning

Configuring SafeNet Trusted Access for Wrike is a three-step process:

1.Wrike setup

2.SafeNet Trusted Access setup

3.Verify authentication

Wrike Setup

As a prerequisite, download the Identity Provider metadata from the SafeNet Trusted Access console by clicking the Download metadata file button.

You will need this metadata in one of the steps below.

Perform the following steps to configure SafeNet Trusted Access as your Identity Provider in Wrike:

1.Log in to Wrike as an administrator using the https://www.wrike.com/login URL.

2.On the Wrike workspace, in the top-right corner, click on your profile image icon , and click Account management.

3.In the top-left corner, click the icon to expand the Account management menu.

4.In the left pane, under Account Management, click Security.

5.Under Advanced security settings, scroll down to SAML SSO, and click Setup SAML SSO.

6.On the SAML SSO Setup window, perform the following steps:

a.Under Set up your Identity Provider, in the Choose IdP field, select Other.

b.Click Next.

c.Under SAML SSO Setup > Setup your Identity Provider > Wrike metadata, click on the Download XML file link. The Wrike metadata will be automatically downloaded. Save it on your local machine. This metadata will be used while configuring SafeNet Trusted Access.

d.Click Next.

e.In a text editor, open the identity provider metadata that you downloaded earlier from the STA console. Copy the entire text of the metadata.

f.Under Set up Wrike to work with your Identity Provider > IDP metadata, select the Enter XML option, and in the field, paste the identity provider metadata that you copied in the previous step.

g.Click Next.

h.Under Enable SAML SSO for the account, click Enable SAML Settings.

i.Under Verify your email, in the Paste code from email field, enter the 6 digit confirmation code that is sent to the admin mail account.

j.Click Confirm.

k.Under Testing, click Save SAML settings.

7.Optional: To enable Just-In-Time (JIT) provisioning in IdP initiated SSO, perform the following steps:

a.Under SAML SSO, select Enable Just-In-Time Provisioning.

b.Click Save changes.

c.Under Verify your email, in the Paste code from email field, enter the 6 digit confirmation code that is sent to the admin mail account.

d.Click Confirm.

Note:  Contact the advanced support team of Wrike to receive the account-specific sign-in link for Just-in-time provisioning.

For example, https://www.wrike.com/sso/<custom_part>

SafeNet Trusted Access Setup

After completing the first step of configuring SafeNet Trusted Access in Wrike, the second step is to activate the Wrike application in SafeNet Trusted Access by performing the following steps:

1.In the Applications pane, the Wrike application you added earlier is in the inactive state by default. To configure and activate this application, click the application (for example, Wrike) and proceed to the next step.

2.Under STA Setup, perform the following steps:

a.Click Upload Wrike Metadata.

b.On the Metadata Upload window, click Browse to search and select the Wrike metadata that you saved in step 6(c) of Wrike Setup.

c.Under User Login ID Mapping, in the NAME ID field, ensure that Email address is selected.

d.Under Return Attributes, ensure that firstName and lastName are added.

e.Click Save Configuration to save the details and activate the Wrike application in SafeNet Trusted Access.

Verify Authentication

Using STA Console

Navigate to the Wrike SSO URL, https://www.wrike.com/sso. On the Wrike Single Sign On (SSO) login window, enter your company email ID that is registered in Wrike, and click Log In.

You will be redirected to your SafeNet Trusted Access sign-in page. Enter your primary directory login information, approve the two-factor authentication, and you should be redirected to the Wrike application after authentication.

Using STA User Portal

Navigate to the User Portal URL to log in to the STA User Portal dashboard. On the dashboard, you will see a list of applications to which you have access. Click the Wrike application icon. You should be successfully logged in to the Wrike application after authentication.
