SafeNet Trusted Access for MyWebTimeSheets


Configuring SafeNet Trusted Access for MyWebTimeSheets is a three-step process:

1.MyWebTimeSheets setup

2.SafeNet Trusted Access setup

3.Verify authentication

MyWebTimeSheets Setup

As a prerequisite, download the Identity Provider Signing Certificate from the SafeNet Trusted Access console by clicking the Download X.509 certificate button. You will need this certificate in one of the steps given below.

Perform the following steps to configure SafeNet Trusted Access as your Identity Provider in MyWebTimeSheets:

1.Log in to MyWebTimeSheets as an administrator using the URL.

2.On the MyWebTimeSheets dashboard, click the System Setup tab, and under Security Management, click Company SAML Settings.

3.On the right-hand side, click on the Edit SAML Settings icon and then under Update SAML Settings, perform the following steps:

a.In the Login URL field, enter the SINGLESIGNONSERVICE URL that is provided on the SafeNet Trusted Access console.

You can copy this URL by clicking the Copy to Clipboard icon available next to the SINGLESIGNONSERVICE field.

b.In a text editor, open the IdP certificate that you downloaded earlier from the SafeNet Trusted Access console and copy the entire text.

c.In the Certificate field, paste the certificate text that you copied in the previous step.

d.In the Is Enabled field, select the Yes option.

e.Click Save.

SafeNet Trusted Access Setup

After completing the first step of configuring SafeNet Trusted Access in MyWebTimeSheets, the second step is to activate the MyWebTimeSheets application in SafeNet Trusted Access by performing the following steps:

1.In the Applications pane, the MyWebTimeSheets application you added earlier is in the inactive state by default. To configure and activate this application, click the application (for example, MyWebTimeSheets) and proceed to the next step.

2.Under Account Details, in the COMPANY NAME field, enter the company name provided by MyWebTimeSheets.

3.Under User Login ID Mapping, in the NAME ID field, ensure that the Email address is selected.

5.Click Save Configuration to save the details and activate the MyWebTimeSheets application in SafeNet Trusted Access.

Verify Authentication

Using STA Console

Navigate to the MyWebTimeSheets login URL, https://<Company Name> You will be redirected to the SafeNet Trusted Access sign-in page. Enter your primary directory login information, approve the two-factor authentication, and you should be redirected to the MyWebTimeSheets dashboard after authentication.

Using STA User Portal

Navigate to the User Portal URL to log in to the STA User Portal dashboard. On the dashboard, you will see a list of applications to which you have access. Click the MyWebTimeSheets application icon. You should be successfully redirected to the MyWebTimeSheets dashboard after authentication.
