SafeNet Trusted Access for LeanKit
Configuring SafeNet Trusted Access for LeanKit is a three-step process:
2.SafeNet Trusted Access setup
As a prerequisite, download the Identity Provider Signing Certificate from the SafeNet Trusted Access console by clicking the Download X.509 certificate button. You will need this certificate in one of the steps below.
Perform the following steps to configure SafeNet Trusted Access as your Identity Provider in LeanKit:
1.Send an email to the LeanKit support team (firstname.lastname@example.org) to get the SAML single sign-on enabled for your LeanKit account.
2.As per the LeanKit support team's requirement, provide the following information to them through an email:
•Host name: Your host name (for example, https://SafeNet.leankit.com) registered with LeanKit.
•Signing certificate: The signing certificate that you downloaded earlier from the SafeNet Trusted Access console.
•Single Sign On Service URL: Single Sign On Service URL that is available on the SafeNet Trusted Access console.
On the SafeNet Trusted Access console, you can copy this URL by clicking on the Copy to Clipboard icon available next to the SINGLESIGNONSERVICE field .
After completing the first step of configuring SafeNet Trusted Access in LeanKit, the second step is to activate the LeanKit application in SafeNet Trusted Access by performing the following steps:
1.In the Applications pane, the LeanKit application you added earlier is in the inactive state by default. To configure and activate this application, click the application (for example, LeanKit) and proceed to the next step.
2.Under STA Setup, click Upload LeanKit Metadata.
3.On the Metadata Upload window, click Browse to search and select the LeanKit metadata provided by the LeanKit support team.
In the Account Details section, the service provider metadata is displayed.
4.Click Save Configuration to save the details and activate the LeanKit application in SafeNet Trusted Access.
Navigate to the LeanKit login URL, https://<Host Name>.leankit.com/account/membership/externallogin, where <Host Name> is the host name that you have registered with LeanKit, and click Continue.
You will be redirected to your SafeNet Trusted Access sign-in page. Enter your primary directory login information, approve the two-factor authentication, and you should be redirected to the LeanKit portal after authentication.
Navigate to the User Portal URL to log in to the STA User Portal dashboard. On the dashboard, you will see a list of applications to which you have access. Click the LeanKit application icon. You should be successfully logged in to the LeanKit portal after authentication.
