SafeNet Trusted Access for Bonusly

Overview

Configuring SafeNet Trusted Access for Bonusly is a three-step process:

1.Bonusly setup

2.SafeNet Trusted Access setup

3.Verify authentication

Bonusly Setup

As a prerequisite, download the Identity Provider signing certificate from the SafeNet Trusted Access console by clicking the Download X.509 certificate button. You will need this certificate in one of the steps below.

Perform the following steps to configure SafeNet Trusted Access as your Identity Provider in Bonusly:

1.Log in to the Bonusly administrator account using the https://bonus.ly/users/sign_in_start URL.

2.In the left pane, under ADMIN, click COMPANY.

3.Under COMPANY, click Integrations.

4.In the right pane, scroll down to Single Sign-on and click the SAML tile.

5.Under SAML Integration, perform the following steps:

a.From the Metadata field, click Download to download the metadata and save the xml file to your local machine.

b.Uncheck Automatically Configure from Metadata.

c.In the IdP Issuer (Entity ID) field, enter the ISSUER/ENTITY ID URL that is provided on the SafeNet Trusted Access console. You can copy this URL by clicking the Copy to Clipboard icon available next to the ISSUER/ENTITY ID field.

d.In the IdP SSO target URL field, enter the SINGLESIGNONSERVICE URL that is provided on the SafeNet Trusted Access console. You can copy this URL by clicking the Copy to Clipboard icon available next to the SINGLESIGNONSERVICE field.

e.Open the Identity Provider certificate that you downloaded earlier from the SafeNet Trusted Access console in Notepad and copy the entire text of the certificate.

f.In the X.509 Cert field, paste the entire text of the Identity Provider certificate.

Bonusly will automatically generate the Cert Fingerprint if the full X.509 certificate is provided.

g.Click Save.

SafeNet Trusted Access Setup

After completing the first step of configuring SafeNet Trusted Access in Bonusly, the second step is to activate the Bonusly application in SafeNet Trusted Access by performing the following steps:

1.In the Applications pane, you will notice that the Bonusly application that you added previously is currently in inactive state by default. To configure and activate this application, click the application (for example, Bonusly) and proceed to the next step.

2.Under STA Setup, click the Upload Metadata button.

3.In the Metadata upload window, click Browse to search and select the Bonusly metadata that you saved in step 5 of Bonusly Setup.

4.Under Account Details, service provider metadata information is displayed.

5.Click Save Configuration to save the details and activate the Bonusly application in SafeNet Trusted Access.

Verify Authentication

Using STA Console

Navigate to the Bonusly URL, https://bonus.ly/saml/<APP_ID>/index, where <APP_ID> is the name of your organization that you registered in Bonusly. You will be redirected to the SafeNet Trusted Access sign-in page. Enter your primary directory login information, approve the two-factor authentication, and you should be redirected to the Bonusly user portal after authentication.

Using STA User Portal

Navigate to the User Portal URL to log in to the STA User Portal dashboard. On the dashboard, you will see a list of applications to which you have access. Click on the Bonusly application icon, you should be redirected to the Bonusly user portal after authentication.
