SafeNet Trusted Access for BlueJeans

Overview

Configuring SafeNet Trusted Access for BlueJeans is a three-step process:

1.BlueJeans setup

2.SafeNet Trusted Access setup

3.Verify Authentication

BlueJeans Setup

As a prerequisite, download the Identity Provider Signing Certificate from the SafeNet Trusted Access console by clicking on Download X.509 certificate.

You will need this certificate in one of the steps below.

Perform the following steps to configure SafeNet Trusted Access as your Identity Provider in BlueJeans:

1.Log in to BlueJeans as an administrator.

2.On the BlueJeans console, click the ADMIN tab.

3.On the ADMIN tab, click the SECURITY tab.

4.On the SECURITY tab, under Authentication Options, select SAML Single Sign On and then perform the following steps:

a.Under Certificate Path, click CHOOSE FILE to search and select the Identity Provider Certificate that you download earlier from the SafeNet Trusted Access console.

b.In the Login URL field, enter the SingleSignOnService URL that is provided on the SafeNet Trusted Access console.

You can copy this URL by clicking on the Copy to Clipboard icon available next to the SingleSignOnService field.

c.In the Password Change URL field, enter https://<Your Domain Name provided by BlueJeans>.bluejeans.com. For example, https://example.bluejeans.com.

d.In the Logout URL field, enter https://<Your Domain Name provided by BlueJeans>.bluejeans.com. For example, https://example.bluejeans.com.

e.From the RelayState field, copy the entire text. You will need this RelayState value while setting up SafeNet Trusted Access.

f.Select the Pick User Id from <saml2:NameID> element check box.

g.In the Email field, enter User.Email.

h.Click SAVE CHANGES.

SafeNet Trusted Access Setup

After completing the first step of configuring SafeNet Trusted Access in BlueJeans, the second step is to activate the BlueJeans application in SafeNet Trusted Access by performing the following steps:

1.In the Applications pane, you will notice that the BlueJeans application that you added previously is currently in inactive state by default. To configure and activate this application, click the application (for example, BlueJeans) and proceed to the next step.

2.Under STA Setup, in the IDP INITIATED SSO RELAY STATE field, paste the RelayState value which you copied earlier in Step 3(e) of BlueJeans Setup .

3.Click Save Configuration to save the details and activate the BlueJeans application in SafeNet Trusted Access.

Verify Authentication

Using STA Console

Navigate to the BlueJeans login URL, https://<Your Domain Name provided by BlueJeans>.bluejeans.com and then click LOGIN. You will be redirected to the SafeNet Trusted Access sign-in page. Enter your primary directory login information, approve the two-factor authentication, and you should be redirected to the BlueJeans support portal after authentication.

Using STA User Portal

Navigate to the User Portal URL to log in to the STA User Portal dashboard. On the dashboard, you will see a list of applications to which you have access. Click on the BlueJeans application icon, you should be redirected to the BlueJeans support portal after authentication.
